Selfishness

सैम मेरी गोद में था और एरिक अभी-अभी स्कूल के लिए घर से निकला था। मेरे पति जोनाथन मेरे पुराने पंखे को साफ करने की कोशिश कर रहे थे। सुबह 9:00 बजे वह अपनी कंपनी के लिए घर से निकले। वह कंपनी में मैनेजर थे। उनके भाई पढ़ाई कर रहे थे और बेहतर जीवन के लिए विदेश जाने की कोशिश कर रहे थे। जोनाथन अपने परिवार का बहुत ध्यान रखते थे। जोनाथन के परिवार के अन्य सदस्य विदेश में बस गए थे। उनके माता-पिता अपने गाँव के बड़े-बड़े आलीशान घरों में रहते थे। हम हर रविवार को चर्च जाते थे और  खुश रहते थे और घर के समारोहों में हमेशा भाग लेते थे। सब कुछ ठीक चल रहा था, जोनाथन के ड्यूटी जाने  के बाद मैं घर के काम-काज में व्यस्त हो गई। तभी किसी ने बाहर  से आवाज लगाई ..मैं भागते हुए बाहर  आई, वो मैथ्यू था हमारा पड़ोसी, बोला भाभी जल्दी हॉस्पिटल चलो भैया को कुछ समस्या हो गई है, मैंने पूछा क्या हुआ? लेकिन उसने फिर वही बात दुहराई। मैं अपने सैम  के साथ जल्दी से अस्पताल भागी । काफी लोग वहां इकठ्ठा हो गए थे। मुझे डर लगने लगा था... किसी अनहोनी की.. मैं और आगे बढी तो देखा जोनाथन एक बिस्तर पर पड़े थे.... एक...

“Ignored, Yet Alive”

I generally used carpooling to go to my duty. It was my daily routine to travel from home to school and vice versa. Near my house, I found roadside trees planted by the Nagar Nigam, and they took care of all the trees. I used to feel happy when I saw lush green plants. There was a teak plant that had been partially uprooted due to an accident. I thought the Nagar Nigam would take care of it, but I was wrong. More than a month passed, and I felt that it would be very difficult for the teak plant to grow again. It was probably April when all this was happening. Due to the hot weather, there were very few chances for it to grow properly. Finally, I decided to replant it, but I couldn’t succeed. I asked some laborers to help, but they refused due to the unavailability of a pickaxe. While all this was happening, April turned into June. DESTINY

Jitin  was in confusion during his teaching training, as he had qualified for JRF ( ICMR ). He was unable to decide which one is good, either go for  PhD  or for govt teaching job in UP Basic Education. Finally he decided and went to his HOD Biochemistry BHU with his problems. She suggests him for teaching job after listening his family background and uncertainties in govt job. She told him u can do  PHd  anytime but if you will miss govt job then it will be difficult. As a result he joined teaching job and doing well.  On the other hand  Arnav  was clear for his job in higher education. It was his future planning. As a result when he had qualified for JRF ( CSIR ) during his teaching training, he quit his training and joined PhD program in BHU. Although his grandfather had discussed with me ( Jitendra  ) which one is better? I had suggested for PHd. Finally, after his PhD from Department of Zoology in BHU Arnav left India and went  USA ...
